Free pattern and instructions below... Inspired by ornaments made by Crochet with Raymond (https://crochethealingandraymond.wordpress.com/) The yarns I used (available at Michael's #notsponsored): Loops and Threads Impeccable Claret #01532 Loops and Threads Impeccable Forest #01243 Loops and Threads Impeccable Heather #01010 Crochet hook size H, 5.0mm or UK size 6 (although size doesn't need to be exact). Rnd 1: With color A: using the magic loop method, work 10hdc in the loop (using the first ch2 as the first hdc). Join in the top ch of the beginning ch2. Fasten off. (10 stitches) Rnd 2: With color B: working between the stitches of the previous rnd, join yarn, ch2 (counts as first hdc) and work 2hdc (V-stitch) in between each stitch of the previous rnd. Join in the top ch of the beginning ch2. Fasten off. (20 stitches) Rnd 3: With color C: again, working between stitches, join yarn in between two V-stitches of the previous rnd, ch2 (counts as first hdc), 2hdc in the V-stitch of the previous rnd and continue around. Join in the top of beginning ch2. Fasten off. (30 stitches) Rnd 4: With color A: working in the top of the stitches of the previous rnd, join yarn in the first stitch of a V-stitch of the previous rnd. Ch1 and sc in the same space. Sc in next stitch, long hdc over single hdc of previous rnd (inserting hook into the space the stitch you're working over was worked). Continue working around putting 1 sc in each of the hdc's of the V-stitches of previous rnd and a long-hdc over the single stitches. Join in top of 1st sc and fasten off. Make two. To join pieces, put each back to back. Join yarn and sc together around. To make a hanging loop, pull your working yarn long, wrap hook behind the forward yarn and catch yarn behind (being sure to catch both pieces) and pull through. Yarn over and pull through all 3 loops on the hook. Join, fasten off and weave in end.
